When I was little, my mom sent me to a bilingual school. I grew up there, and every year I was learning a little bit more of English. When 6th grade came, I had to do an International English Test (PET). I wasn´t sure if I could make it, so I studied a lot. I passed the test. When I finished 7th grade, I moved to Panamá. I entered a school named, Balboa Academy. I was very excited, except for the detail that everything was in English. That was very difficult to me, because in that time I only knew a little of English, enough to communicate with some people and some other stuff.
It was very difficult to me, this was new to me. Everything was different, I was used to have 15 teachers, and now I have only 8, the same with my classes. In my old school, I had 16 subjects, and all different days and now 8 and all the same day. It was a big change. I couldn´t understand even half of what they told me… Now I can. Now I improved my English. Now I’m learning more things to be better. Now I know that English is very important.
